Flashback 2011: I was a working actor living in Los Angeles, California. Life was good, but I wasn’t.
Night after night, I’d sit on my sofa thinking, “There’s something more I’m suppose to do with my life.”
After learning about my passion for saving animals and the planet, a fellow actor ask if I’d speak to her son’s 1st grade class about protecting the rainforest. It was an experience that changed my life.
Sitting in a circle with 1st graders, I shared stories about my time in the rainforest and how important it is to take care of our precious planet. I saw the spark in each child’s eyes as they felt inspired to take action.
In that moment I knew it was my mission to empower kids to take positive action for the planet and give them a voice to create global change.
Present Day: I am a guest speaker and educator for schools and organizations, with a focus on climate change education. I offer a proven 5-step formula to reach, teach, and inspire kids to take positive action for the planet, PLUS exclusive resources to support teachers, because teachers deserve the 5-star treatment. I’m the creator, writer, producer and host of the PBS series, Kids for Positive Change, and “Mom” to Bree, the Rescue Rooster, who is “Waking the world up to kindness one crow at a time!”
I created Kids for Positive Change for you, for kids, for the planet.
